Buddha

I always want to donate prayer books to the people, but I never have a chance, because I never have money left to do whatever I want to do. But today I have a blog, and I think I will start from writing Buddha story by using my blog.

I had a book name “Basic Buddhism course” write by Pha Sunthorn Plamintr, Ph.D.

My daughter got this book from “Bhikkhuni Sudhamma” at ‘Wat Carolina Buddhist Vihara’ she gave this book to my daughter and want her to read this book.

Today I want to use this book to write and post on hubpages to let people who’s believe in Lord Buddha and want to know more about Buddha or never know or know little about Buddha read.

But, before I’m writing Buddha story, I want to give you one prayer, that you can pray it any time anywhere, even in the car.

“Namo tassa pakavato arahato sammasambuddhassa” three times.

Buddhism Religion

Buddha is a very old religion, more than 2,500 years old, found by Buddha who lived in India in the sixth century B.C. India is known as the birth place of Buddha because it was there that Buddhism arose and from there it spread to other parts of the word.

Buddha is a religion of self- help. It teaches man to depend on himself, to be courageous and confident in his own ability, Buddha philosophy places man at the center of all things; it advises man to strive and work hard to achieve his goals, material or spiritual, through his own efforts, not through prayer or mere wishful thankful thinking.

Buddhism teaches man to be kind and gentle. Buddhists are peace-loving people and have never made war in the name of the religion. Today there is violence everywhere in our society because many people are selfish and lack of kindness.

is a good web site to learn about Buddha, I really love this website and it’s free! you can choose your own language from Thai, English, Chinese, and Japanese.

I'm still writing Buddha story and do translation from Thai to English, and I only got the first part (the begining part that Buddha was born to this earth) this part I got from dmc.tv (DMC channnel). I like to go to this site alot when ever I have time.

But Buddha life after born I still looking for more good detail. If I cannot find in Thai book then I will take the story that written in English language that I have.
