Ask your attendants to contribute to the clothes they will wear (after all they do get to keep them) or perhaps pick a themed wedding – fancy costumes are much cheaper than wedding attire.

5. Have you considered holding the reception in your yard? It’s not as difficult as you might think. What you need to do is find an inexpensive catering company and perhaps a cheap marquee.
