You treat him well; get him a good price and excellent customer service. Who do you think he will buy his next car from? When he gets married and starts a family and needs a bigger vehicle where will he go? If you treated him fairly he will come back to you as a lifetime customer.
Car Sales Training Tip Two: Referrals from Satisfied Customers Selling one car to one customer doesn't have to end there, nor does it have to end with that customers buying from you again and again. It can and should lead to referrals. Good referrals can generate a steady stream of customers who may also be repeat customers and will also generate referrals. Be careful to treat all your customers, no matter how small, with dignity and respect. It will pay off in the end.
Car Sales Training Tip Three: Social Networking to Generate Customers Whether you are traditional or technological advanced, social networking is a great way to generate contacts that will become future customers. Using fraternal organizations or other social groups is one way to do this. By putting yourself in social situations, you are automatically generating interest and name recognition. Another way to do this is through the online community. Social networking sites work just like 'real life' networking and will allow you to effectively generate customers if used properly.
Automobile Sales Training Tip Four: Blogging to Keep your Pipeline Full Blogging is an excellent way to generate both sales leads and actual customers. Keeping up a blog about yourself, your dealership, your brand and any promotional offers is a great way to let the public know about you. This makes building trust and rapport a snap and thus ensures your pipeline will be full.
