The Plan

I have been making money from my websites and blogs from the last year. I started putting adsense on my sites last year while I was studying at University. I had one website that was earning around $1 to $3 a day. I was thrilled as it only took me about 20 minutes to make this page. I was selling products in my shop and I thought by adding more content it would be useful to my customers but this page has brought me traffic and some money.

I then thought to myself what if I recreate loads of these pages or even websites. The page I made was in a niche market and there were searches but not a lot of competition.

I started researching this idea and came across other marketers who were doing the same. I started researching and thought that the best idea would be to create a blog for a product. This product had an affiliate program aswell as searches but low competition. I started this site with around 5 pages on Google Blogger and then after a week I started to see around $1 a day for this website.

My plan was then to build as many websites as I could. The aim was to build around 100 pages that would focus keywords with traffic but low competition. I researched all this with SEO Book and Google Adwords Keyword tool.

My plan - Build 100 pages Each page bringing me $1 a day. That's $100 a day.

I had around 20 websites going until I had to start all over again. Google Blogger pages were not being indexed anymore and my websites and wordpress blogs got hacked into as I was using a free host (000webhost.com).

Research Niche Topics

The first thing you want to do when starting your own empire of money making niche websites is to research your areas and pick a niche.

You want to focus and then focus a little more. I would recommend first to choose something you are interested in. You can also search affiliate networks to get an idea of niche topics. You can also promote these products. I find that people that search for a particular product are inclined to buy it as they have already seen it before and are already sold or potentially sold.

Build your site

I find the best way to make sites is by using Wordpress. I also recommend some reliable paid hosting. I used to use 000webhost as it was free but speaking form experience I know that this was not a good idea. You need to think this as a business and I realised that I should have invested in reliable hosting. The free hosting got hacked into. When I used blogger I also found that my sites were removed from google after a bit.

You can install Wordpress very easily with many hosts. You should search for hosts that have Fantastico as it is a 1 click install.

I recommend 2 webhosts for niche marketing and niche adsense wordpress blogs.

Hostgator - I use the reseller account and I have unlimited domains so I can set up as many as I like.

Bluehost - This is cheaper and has the same features. You can have unlimited domains and websites.

All my large wordpress blogs run on Hostgator. I like the fact all my blogs are in one place and each have their own cpanel. I have the option to create unlimited subdomains which makes it easier for me.

I have just started using Bluehost and will continue building more blogs. It's useful to have a few different hosts as you don't want to put all your eggs in one basket.

Remebemr that all the websites in one reseller account have the same IP address so if you interlink between each blogs then google will not count each of the links as much.

My Earnings

My earnings increase the more websites I make. I am making at leat $200 a month from adsense and around £40 a month from affiliates. It doesn't sound like much at the moment but I am building websites slowly as I have a full time job.

Hopefully this will inspire you all to do the same.

Drive Traffic to your Blog

Because google likes wordpress and becuase you are in a niche area getting visitors from google search engines shouldn't be hard. After chossing your keywords you should also submit to Diig, Stumbleupon and other social bookmarking sites. You can also drive traffic to your blog with article marketing. Use Youtube aswell by creating videos in Windows Movie Maker.

Driving traffic is a big topic so expect more Hubs on this topic soon.

Wordpress & Monetization

You can create multiple blogs with with wordpress. You don't need to have knowledge in designging or setting up. With the hosting you can install wordpress with one click.

Once you have it setup you will need to access it via FTP and then you can upload plugins and themes.

Themes - there are many professional themes about and some of them have space for your adverts and google adsense code.

Plugins - You will definitely need to make changes to the original worpdress and you can also monetize your blog further with plugins that display ads. You will also need to make it search engine friendly and certain plugins can do this.

What's Next

I recommend you start off with a free host and get to grips with hosting, wordpress and all of the rest. Setup 2 or 3 websites and play around with wordpress. Promote the pages and sites and see if you can earn around $1 a day before moving on to the next.

Once you have started making a little money you should invest into some hosting and go ahead with this plan full steam ahead.

What I have done is built 2 or 3 sites at one time and added to each one slowly. I have added content to each site slowly. I have then moved onto promoting the pages submitting to social bookmarking sites and article directories. This would ahve taken me around a week. I then start writing article for article direcotires for a week. I create a video for youtube and then move onto the next sites.

Everyone has a different schedule setup and you need to set one up that suits you.

It is astounding how many people will try to run an online business on free hosting and I am glad to see that you debunk the idea at the outset of your article.

000Webhost are just one of many free hosting services that will only end up being an expensive mistake.

Free hosting is no good for commercial websites or those with aspirations of making money from their sites.

Great how to hub. I see you mentioned Daily Niche Idea; have you actually used their packages? I'd like to see a hub that gives directions on how to use the other files that come with the articles.

Thanks
