Finding a construction company or building company in Gauteng that has the skill to create your dream home can be tiring. Although there are numerous construction companies in Johannesburg that are within our price range to carry out our building alterations, we want to ensure that the building company we take on, is fully qualified and has a track record to prove that they have what we are looking for.
Something I have been warned about, and if you are looking into having alterations done or a house built, was that we should ensure that the construction company we choose is able to deliver on time. We also need to ensure that we communicate openly and clearly with the building contractors that we take on so as to avoid errors in the final result of the building or alterations.
As we go forward with this information and advice, we hope that others looking for construction companies can do the same and ultimately end up with a building company or construction company that they can trust!

When looking for a building company or construction company to take care of your building and alteration needs, be sure to have a look at their portfolio of previous and current work.
Be sure to check when the building was done and then drive past and visit the building. See if the walls are cracked, if the paintwork has lasted and if the general finish is what you are after. Be sure to only take on a construction company that you really feel will be able to carry through what you are looking for!

Hey! You would need to have your plans for a building or adding on to your property approved. There are guidelines that you have to follow by law, before you can have anythng done constructually to your property. I would suggest looking for a good construction of building company that works in your area to help you with the plans. What area are you in? Maybe I can suggest a building company to you?

everywhere you look now constructions are being done all over the country. i cant drive to work or to a friends house without passing by truckloads of supplies for the new office/apartment block being set up. With the world cup nearly on our doorstep i was thinking about doing some alterations to my second property to make it more appealing to a foreigner who might want to buy or at least rent in the future. U can always rely on property they used to say. but who are the right people to help me with my work. do i need specific licensing for renovations or additions. i'm a complete blank when it comes to admin. Help!
