I just finished getting a birds eye view of the book “Building on a Budget” and although I strongly recommend the book without hesitation there are some drawbacks to the book that cannot be overlooked.

First the Positive Side of Mike Dillard’s Book…

Mike Dillard has an excellent unique writing style. For instance, this includes Magnetic Sponsoring and MLM Traffic Formula course, Building on a Budget are all exciting, simple to-the-point and share value and is imformative that every network marketer can benefit from.

In Building on a Budget, Mike Dillard focuses on five different catagories of Social Marketing techniques that network marketers can implement to create low cost or even free leads on a ongoing basis.

These are the five Building on a Budget Strategies:

· Craiglist

· Video Sharing

· Press Releases

· Blogs

· Squidoo

Mike Dillard goes into explaining the funded sponsoring proposal program, which the purpose being to help the network marketer to be effective bringing the much needed cashflow through monetization just as the traditional business model.

In summery, Mike Dillard is getting you hooked up with the 5 social marketing techniques previously mentioned above. If you reflect on the concepts you read, you’ll find that everything in the puzzle will eventually come together , you will realize that it information source for you.

Building on a Budget Downsides…

However, here are the downsides that cannot be ignored, these are not highlighted in his book Building on a Budget book. Being armed with this knowledge can save you dividends in your time and prove very beneficial monetarly as you progress in the Internet attraction marketing plan.

Building on a Budget Downside #1

First, case in point is Google and Yahoo and other search engines included will often times impose penalties if it is discovered that duplicate content is found on any search engines.

So, to illustrate, when in his course what he taught about Squidoo will eventually create some problems that need to be conscious of so you can avoid this trap.

Avoid the Blueprint penalty..

Keep in mind that Squidoo is a smart way to get an increase in your traffic. At this point you may be wondering is this going to mean that you are going to be indefinitely banned or something that serious? No’, in so doing it could result in you spending your precious time trying to improve your rank in the search engines like Building on a Budget only to find that it was not given a high ranking .

So, if you are going to apply what you learn in Building on a Budget, do so with this blueprint penalty in the back of your mind.

Being armed with this information will encourage you to target other keyword or phrases, if don’t go with the flow of the mainstream you be safe. What you need to do is intentially go for other keywords that those of Mike Dillard’s book would not be likely to use in their marketing of Squidoo.

I agree that Craigslist is a good suggestion, but when doing so be sure to remember this…

Some Craigslist Drawbacks..

A ‘Building on a Budget’ strategy will not give you the benefits in the long run compared to other advertising options available.

Despite the fact that Craigslist is simple to learn and requires less effort to use. It is not known to be as effective as other Social Marketing “Building on a Budget techniques.

To illustrate, what if one day Craigslist was to put their foot down on the huge numbers of marketers who are network marketers posting advertisements. So, it is matter of if it will happen, but when.

See, Craigslist is dedicated to safeguarding their content, they will be certain to side with regular visitors, rather than a group of marketers.

Mike Dillard does go on to explain how to create Internet content, then gets into video, press releases and Squiddo. But there is something important you need to realize, there are many incidentals and other categories of marketing that you will need to add to the equation to get substantial results you are looking and this book is just doesn’t complete in this information.

Building on a Budget Downside #3 It is not Complete..

Mike Dillard’s Building on a Budget is outstanding to the point. However, don’t expect it to give all the information you bargained for . If you do make the decision to get the book, I advise that you get a friend or better yet a marketing expert to help you get your marketing plan set up online in a click by click fashion visually.

Concluding thoughts on Mike Dillard’s book, Building on a Budget…

I am not saying that Dillard is not dynamic at selling his program. I am thoughly believe that network marketers will become most successful if they embrace these new Internet marketing concepts. I don’t hesitate that they read and apply this book.

In addition, many people will purchase the book and think that it is complete and all that is necessary. My professional advice tells me that this is only the beginning and an awesome one!
