Buono! The teenage Jpop group.

Who are they?

Hop, step, jump! Drew, draw, drawn! Chip, syrup, whipcream! If you have seen the anime Shugo Chara, you must be familiar with the cute, upbeat opening theme. The song is sung by the energetic Japanese group called Buono!

Buono! is a Japanese female idol band consisting of three teenage girls: (left to right) Airi Suzuki, Miyabi Natsuyaki, and Momoko Tsugunaga. This is a unit of the Hello!Project, and the three girls are all memebers of the Hello!Project Kids.

The group first formed to sing the opening and ending theme song of the anime Shugo Chara, and continued to record the ending themes of the sequel Shugo Chara Doki.

Interestingly, the word "Buono" is actually Italian, meaning "tasty".

Airi Suzuki

(鈴木 愛理)

  • Born April 12, 1994
  • Blood type: B
  • Favourite colour: green

Airi is the youngest singer in the group, but her singing and dancing talents are not at all worse than the other two. In fact, she has a very powerful and amazing vocal talent. She is also a member of another Jpop group under Hello!Project, ℃-ute. She is the lead singer of that group.

Miyabi Natsuyaki

(夏焼 雅)

  • Born August 25, 1992
  • Blood type: O
  • Favourite colour: red

Miyabi has a nickname Miya among her friends. She is also from another popular Jpop group, called Berryz Koubou, a Hello!Project unit. Miyabi seems to be the most mature girl among the three.

Momoko Tsugunaga

(嗣永 桃子)

  • Born March 6, 1992
  • Blood type: O
  • Favourite colour: pink

Momoko, or Momo for short, is the leader of Buono!. She is also the sub-leader of Berryz Koubou. She has a very cute voice, and an energetic personality.
