Bury St Edmunds has many places of interest. The town is of historic value to britain and has a massive old monk abbey that is in ruins now but attracts thousands of tourists each year.

Bury st Edmunds is still filled with victorian styled houses and many dating back further than that, They have distinctability with the bending walls and no where near straight roof's.

If you ever visit the town then you must visit the abbey turned into an outside museum with plaques all over explaining what once was.

Bury has recently had alot of work done to it creating a whole new town with a modern look and new shops and cafe's, The old town still remains just a walk through away.

Although St EdmundsBury is of histoiric value the work undertaken in the last few years is slowly turning it into a modern new age town btu it's roots cannot be forgotten because of the abbey that can never come down.
