Having a Hub on hubpages is not that easy. Their standards are strict and requires quality contents. I even got messages from HubPages everytime I link some webpages to my Hub or my pages lacks contents.

I told this things because I need the help of Hubpages to fulfill my dreams of being one of the best Busby SEO Challenge participant of the whole wide world. It's a dream for me because that's maybe the only place that I might reach this goal. I consider it as a quest because it requires a lot of efforts and sacrifices to get to the top.

I have several things in mind to do to make this happen and in this page, I will express and relate everything I will and have done to make my dream a reality. I hope that HubPages.com will understand this simple request and will not flag for doing so.

Update: A new quest is about to begin and that is: kabonfootprint keyword contest from UK Webmaster World. It is the 2nd version of the SEOContest 2008 that they previously initiated and Ken is joining it again. Participation is the word that is best despite losing the challenge.

I have listed here several SEO tactics that I will do (actually some of the list were already done) to make my Busby SEO Challenge entries be indexed and listed to the highest possible result pages of Google.com.

3. Article Submission of my latest posts about the challenge. [done]

4. Making use of all possible social bookmarking sites to increase backlinks of my Busby SEO Challenge entries. [done]

5. Modifying the web design structures of my websites to conform to the guidelines of the search engines and SEO. [done]

Aside from the Busby SEO Challenge, I also conducted an experiment regarding which is the best web page creation, contest-management like website between Squidoo and Hubpages.

The experiment between Squidoo and Hubpages started when a friend of mine inform me that Squidoo is better than Hubpages. I actually did not believe this yet because he did not provide any concrete evidences that will prove this claim that he's trying to relate to me. Actually he's one of the best Busby SEO challenge participant right now and he is best SEO master in our place but I can't agree to him with just his profile. So I conducted an experiment that will really provide a visible evidence.

So the question right now is whether who is better Squidoo or Hubpages? Well Google.com will determine who will be the winner for this and my Busby SEO challenge will benefit from this battle.

I will post the conclusion for this next time after Google Bot and Yahoo! Slurp already clrawled this hubpages and squidoo pages of mine.

Participant in the Busby Web Solutions Search Engine Optimisation Challenge

First Week. As of today, this Busby SEO Challenge entry on Hubpages is leading compared to its counterpart Squidoo. It even reached the top 3 from the leaderboard of Busby. Well, the fight is just the beginning and I can't conclude anything yet about this Hubpages and Squidoo challenge. Let us see more about it later.

2nd Week. This entry is dropping its position on leaderboard and actual Google Search Result Pages.

3rd Week. Due the typhoon Frank that hits Capiz and province wide "black-out", Capiz entrants of the Busby SEO Challenge were seriously affected. It will be a month of no blogging and search engine optimizing for Capiz SEOptimizers. We are still hoping that we might have a chance to make any changes to the current Busby rank. Just hoping for the best!
