What is the secret to success? Well, there are many so called secrets to success. It all really depends on one thing that separates the winners from the losers in affiliate marketing or anything else in life. This one "secret" is really no secret at all. What is it? Well I'm not gona tell you just yet. Let's start with a little history lesson first and let the suspense build for a while. I think you might just figure all this out by yourself. You didn't think I was going to just tell you and be done with it, did you? I have to leave you hanging for a little while at least. That way maybe this lesson will stick with you for a little while.

Time for the history lesson in the form of a little guessing game. I am going to tell you a little story about a famous man in our country's history and you see if you can guess who I am talking about.

He FAILED in business in ‘31.

He was DEFEATED for state legislature in ‘32.

He tried another business in ‘33. It FAILED.

His fiancee DIED in ‘35.

He had a nervous BREAKDOWN in ‘36.

In ‘43 he ran for congress and was DEFEATED.

He tried again in ‘48 and was DEFEATED again.

He tried running for the senate in ‘55. He LOST.

The next year he ran for vice president and LOST.

In ‘59 he ran for the senate again and was DEFEATED.

Who was this poor, defeated loser? He must have given up and crawled into a hole somewhere to hide and lick his wounds, right? WRONG!!! A lot of people would have quit after the first loss. They would have thought to themselves, "Maybe this whole political thing is just not for me. Maybe I'M just not cut out for it." What about after the 2nd, 3rd or 4th failure? I am almost certain that 98 percent of people would have given up after that. What do you think?

As Paul Harvey says, "It's time for the rest of the story."

I think you have probably figured out the "secret" to success by now. The secret is, there really is no secret at all. Just DON'T GIVE UP. If you believe in yourself with all your heart, you can succeed at whatever it is you're trying to do. If you will decide right now, this very moment, that you are going to be a success and that you're not going to settle for anything less, then you absolutely will become a success. It really is that simple, I promise!

When you're starting anything new, in this case a home business, there will always be a learning curve. You may not be the next instant, internet superstar, but you absolutely can be a great success.

When you're just starting out, try to find the people who have already been there and done that, and copy their formulas for success. Don't try to reinvent the wheel. You would just waste a lot of time and energy in the process. You should, in my opinion, find somebody who has a turnkey, duplicatable system that you can plug into immediately. You can get started in the best way possible right out of the gate. While your using this proven system, continue to study all the material you can by successful people in your chosen business. Before long, you can be a "guru" giving advice to the newcomers just starting out.
