Business Structure with Internet Attraction Marketing
69Why You Need Different Types of Personalities in Your Business
Every business structure is made up of people with different types of personalities. While we may or may not get along with all of them, they do in fact bring a sort of balance to a business. Internet Attraction Marketing helps to target that area by attracting all types of personalities to your business. The best part is: you don’t have to go out and find each of them yourself.
Each personality has its own strength and weakness and each can be an important part of your business. Using Internet Attraction Marketing, you will learn to provide valuable information to your prospects through the internet and they will come to you - every type of personality - ready for what you have to offer. There are at least four different personalities you may find in your business.
My birdbath is a great example. I was in my backyard enjoying the quiet of the afternoon when the birdbath suddenly became a hub of activity. I watched with humor and interest as the different personalities emerged. I hadn’t realized it before, but birds have very definite personalities - much like the people we do business with everyday.
Consider the birds:
First there are the sweet, happy birds that have no problem sharing and don’t mind a little company in the birdbath - they just move over, sing away and are not at all put off by the activity around them. In your business, these are the peacemakers, always looking for the positive side of things and having a natural tendency to help build your business and generate prospects. When the going gets tough, they will still be able to keep their heads up in their typical optimistic fashion.
Second are the timid birds, usually quite striking in appearance and neatly groomed. They are there to bathe and tend to business. What would we do without this group? Some days you barely notice them because they tend to keep to themselves and rarely cause a problem. They are always neat, tidy, do their assigned tasks and create a positive presence in your business. They are hard workers and always reliable.
Third are the medium sized birds - a little bolder - because they are bigger, but still OK to share the birdbath. They are very vocal, and love their bath more than the others. They like to sit and soak for quite some time - then end in a flurry of splashing. These are the creative and bubbly people in your business. Diligent workers, they can appear just a little bit lazy - though more from enjoying the moment than from laziness. Typically not great planners, they are the glue that holds your group together. They work tirelessly, and can handle the flurry of activity just fine as long as someone gives them direction.
Finally, here come the scrappers. They bully their way in and completely dominate the birdbath. They tend to come in groups and fight - even among themselves for the best place in the bath. They leave the birdbath nearly empty and filthy dirty. It is inevitable that you will find some of this personality in your business. I like to think of them as a reason for balance. It will help you to develop patience and understanding. It will also enable you to have a new appreciation for the rest of your group.
Attract Prospects to You
When looking for network marketing prospects, the tendency is to attract only those whose personality directly complements yours. This type of selective prospecting will compromise the strength of your business. By including a variety of personalities, you will offer balance and allow your business to strengthen.
