BusinessObjects Enterprise SDK

The BusinessObjects Enterprise SDK is used to build scalable web applications that manage and distribute reports and documents and also provide functionality for administrative and client tasks.

The BusinessObjects Enterprise SDK includes a number of libraries that allow you to build a web report delivery tool. The BusinessObjects Enterprise SDK gives users the ability to log on to the BusinessObjects Enterprise system, create objects (folders and reports), and to view, schedule and export reports.

For administrative tasks, you can use this SDK to build applications that enable administrators to gather metrics, handle security, and manage servers, users, and groups. For client tasks, you can use this SDK to build applications that enable users to browse the Enterprise Repository, export reports, and handle scheduling tasks. For example, you can build an application that authenticates users, provides a list of available reports, and allows users to export those reports to other formats such as PDF.
