Business that you can start using a van or truck

Hi, I am going to attempt to answer this request for  rockinjoe.

I started my own business but I did not have a van or a truck as transportion. There are pleanty of businesses that you can start with a van or a truck. Here is a list of businesses that you can start or think of starting.

1) Cleaning business

A cleaning business is a great way to start because you can always add on to the business. I started out just cleaning Residential homes. I than after a few months added steam cleaning and window cleaning. I am now going back to school to get my certification in Carpentry because my clients want me to do repairs this is so that I am covered. I will be adding this to my current business. I know when you think of cleaning business you think of house keeping. This is not what I started. I called my business a service not just a cleaning services. I have added on other things that regular businesses do not have or offer.

2) Landscaping or yard clean up

Landscaping or yard clean up is a good business during the season of summer and fall and spring, This slows when winter hits. But what you can do is if it snows where you are you can add snow removal.

3) You can start a carpet cleaning business, You just need the truck mounted carpet cleaner or you can buy a portable ninja.

4) Moving company for residential homes. You can start a private moving company for small residential homes.

So far this is just off the top of my head. But beware with any business you will have to put money and maintenance into your business. Do not expect to see a lot of money right away.

You can start a private moving company for small residential homes. Better yet maybe let folks know you can help there love ones get moved into a nice nursing home apartment. Also offer to take what they don't need to other family houses, and also to a storage place to keep things safe until they really know what they want to do with extra stuff you collect over the years.
