Butterscotch poppyseed loaves are great to serve with tea or coffee

This recipe for butterscotch poppyseed loaves makes 4 loaves. These are easy to make and you will garner compliments on the different taste.

Butterscotch Poppyseed Loaves

2 yellow cake mixes

3 pkg. instant butterscotch pudding

2-3 tsp. sugar

8 eggs

3/4 cup oil

2 cups water

1/2 cup poppyseeds

Beat in order given for about 2 minutes with beaters. Scrape into 4 greased loaf pans and bake at 325 degrees about 45 minutes to an hour or until done. Test centers with a toothpick to check.

* Make sure to use instant pudding or the butterscotch poppyseed loaves will not turn out.

A butterscotch poppyseed loaf is just the thing to take to a potluck or for family gatherings. Best of all, you can freeze the remaining loaves so that you have something on hand when company comes over!
