What types of cell phone cases are on the market?  Let me tell you a  real life example about my phone and why I now have a cellular phone case for my phone.  A few months back I bought a new HTC G1 Android.  When I first purchased it, it had no flaws, nicks, or, scratches.  However, as time when by, I had a clumsy habit of dropping my cell phone every chance that I had.  I would drop it pulling it out of my pocket, or drop it if I had too many things in my hand, I would also scratch the screen when I had it in my pocket with my keys and loose change.  Every time I saw my phone drop and bounce on the pavement, I would cringe.  How bad was the damage to my phone?  For starters, the screen is scratched; there are various nicks all over my phone, and a nice large crack on my phone camera function.  All of this could have been avoided if I just purchased a cheap cell phone case.  Besides avoiding cosmetic damage to my phone, having a protective covering on a smart phone can reduce the damage of internal parts. 

There are many options when it comes to cell phone cases.  If you are always on the go and work in an office, pulling a phone out of your pocket every few minutes becomes annoying after awhile.  A simple solution to this is to purchase a belt clip.  A belt clip cell phone cover allows you to wear a protective cover on your belt loop and allows the user to pull the cell phone out with ease.  These clips tend to be very convenient as the phone sits out of the user’s pocket and detaches from your belt with ease. 

Cell phone leather cases can be very elegant and make even the cheapest phone look like a designer phone.  Leather cellular phone cases sometimes come standard with some cell phone offers.  Other leather products can be bought in cell phone shops and other electronics stores.  Higher end cell phone cases will cost a lot more, but the leather will be a lot better.   Some cell phone cases that you can enjoy are Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Coach, and Christian Dior designer cases. 

Depending on the type of phone you have, you can always keep your phone in the case as the case will enclose your case in a protective layer.  Flip phones generally have more choices for cell phone protection than smart phones.  Smart phones tend to have plastic shield coverings that enclose the cell phone.  There are also smart phone jelly skins that wrap you I-Phone or G1 in  a various types of body glove phone cases.  The only negative part about these is that the screen is not protected and you’ll have to buy a plastic skin covering.   These hard cover cell phone cases usually snap into place or slide over the phone.  The only complaint that people might have is that the coverings sometimes make the phone bulky and heavy to hold. 

The best cell phone case is the one that is most suitable for you.  If you are looking for a little “bling”, then purchase a designer cell phone case, if you want more practicality then get a leather case, or a hard plastic case.  Flip phones will have more choices than smart phones and larger phones and smart phones will require that you get a plastic screen protector for your screen.
