How To Buy MP3 Players - A Review
56Choosing the Best MP3 Player
If you're in the market to buy MP3 Players, chances are you would have noticed the vast range of MP3 Players to choose from. They come in all forms, shapes and sizes. They don't only play music. Some of them play videos, some have radios, and even some are integrated into your phone! IPods may clearly be the most popular of MP3 players, but there are more options out there that don't necessarily lock you down to Apple technology and proprietary product accessories. Before you buy MP3 Players, read this hub.
Choose a MP3 Player Format
Before you buy MP3 Players, you need to work out what format you'd be happy to have your music on. It may not seem too obvious for ordinary buyers, but there is a difference between the format that an ipod music file is saved, as compared to a standard MP3 format. iPods, having been the most popular portable music device, can sometimes be mistaken as an MP3 player. In actual fact, it isn't, but they are the most popular device around. There are softwares available readily for both Ipod and MP3 music, but the advantage is that MP3 music can be played in more devices than an iTunes/iPod music.
iPod/iTunes music, on the other hand, have become very popular that you will not have to worry about compatibility of playing the music or video from iTunes. iPods have also become very fashionable, and have a great design to them.

I would presume that most people would have a budget on how much they'd like to spend to buy MP3 Players. You will have to weigh up the functionality you get to the price on offer. Sometimes, the smallest difference can cost nearly 50% more in price, though in some case, there may be a sale on, and you can snatch a bargain! Also, Warranty coverage can vary from country to country, so watch for it. My experience is that if you intend to keep your MP3 player longer and not change it for a few years, it may pay to get the extended warranty, as they can take a beating with being so light and portable.

What Type Of MP3 Player Would You Like To Buy?
Thanks for the comments SimeyC! I used to hate iPods, but they have become so common nowadays that it's not too difficult to share things with people.. I have a Samsung player, just like the one on the photo above..

Yep - I'm a iPOd hater! Mainly because Apple force you to use iTunes! I use Rhapsody and cannot therefore use the iPod! However, I'm more than happy with the Sansa I have!
