Only 5 days until the most anticipated release of a cell phone ever. The iPhone is available this Friday 29th and there will be thousands of people waiting for it.

We can only hope that it lives up to the hype, remember all the problems there were when the iPods were release, many are hoping the same doesn't transpire with this phone.

Heres a few features anyway:

iPhone will ship with a stereo headset that features a microphone and integrated button which will let owners answer and end calls without much effort. The same headset can be used to control audio and video playback.

If you are listening to music when the call comes in the volume will automatically fade out, and in the eye cod will pause the music track. Then you need only to click on the headset button to answer the call, and once you're finished your call a second click will hang it up and your music will fade back in from where you left off.

As with all phones iPhone can be locked by pressing the Sleep/Wake button this of course will deactivate the touchscreen, you can still receive calls and play music. But if you accidentally touch the screen nothing will happen. To completely shut down your phone, press theSleep/Wake button for a few seconds.

iPhone's has a visual voicemail function, which allows owners to scroll through recordings in realtime, using and on screen progress slider.

When listening to specific tracks and iPod mode, the iPhone will offer an on-screen display, which will show other songs from that album.

Any photos taken with the iPhone can be used as wallpaper, assigned to once contact lists, or e-mailed to anyone.

Not only can you read your e-mail on it, you can view PDF files, JPEG, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel files.

Tapping on any phone number that you receive an e-mail will automatically call that number.
