What do you know about buying lingerie? I can tell you that awhile ago I knew absolutely nothing about buying lingerie. I’m on a mission to buy some nice lingerie for my wife. I realized (because she told me) that I had never bought her any lingerie. Now I like lingerie and I like when my wife wears it. So I’m going to surprise her and buy some. One problem... I didn’t know the first thing about lingerie. So, I set out to do some research. What follows below is what I learned about buying lingerie.

One of the first things that I learned was that you can buy lingerie based on the occasion you are celebrating. Designers have designed different types of lingerie for specific events. The different types include honeymoon lingerie, bridal lingerie, wedding night lingerie, and just plain sexy lingerie for any occasion. Lingerie also consists of bras and other undergarments.

When selecting lingerie it is a good idea to know a little something about your special lady, because buying the right lingerie is dependent on the woman’s size, shape, and height.

• If your lady has a large waist you may want to consider selecting a baby doll top and matching low briefs as opposed to tight or snug lingerie that draws too much attention to the waist area. A sheer baby doll top will make her look and feel sexy without feeling self conscious.


• Light and airy lingerie will make slim girls frames look beautiful. Most models wear this type of lingerie because it gives a sexy look. If your lady is slim avoid buying lingerie that is too large, because it will look droopy.

• If your significant other has a pear shape you may want to buy a chemise with lace cups, because they will emphasize the breasts.

• If your lady has small breasts you may consider buying her a bustier bra. This type of bra will give the illusion of bigger breasts and the cleavage looks very nice in this type of lingerie.

• Also, if your lady has an hourglass figure avoid buying loose fitting lingerie as it will make her breasts appear larger and shapeless.


About 70 percent of women wear the wrong bra. If you want to be a hero for her then try to get the right sized bra. Badly fitting bras can cause bulges and will leave the breasts unsupported.
