I've owned a couple of Golden Retrievers and I must say they are great with children and make excellent company for the family. Golden Retrievers enjoy long runs across large fields once a day to keep them fit and healthy, we find its a good idea to take Charlie the same time every day in the morning at around 8.30 am, as its cooler and it teaches him a routine. The only problem is he pestered us from 7am until someone takes him out.
