DO YOU HAVE A SPEEDY INTERNET CONNECTION?

Internet has become the main tool for communication.  It has the widest coverage compared to any other.  Changes and improvement in technology never stops and because of that, the demands get higher and even more complicated.  Having a telephone line allows internet use in certain countries.  The form of internet use through telephone is by “dial-up”.  It is a prepaid card that has minutes to consume.  That is totally hassle-free until “DSL” was discovered.  Dial up allows a much lower speed rate than that of DSL’s and that disables us from downloading and uploading big files such as videos, and software.

DSLs are twice or even thrice as fast as dial-ups and it is being used by most of the countries.  It avoids hanging, and lagging but DSL requires more plugging and other additional tools.  Today, cable modem wireless router becomes the hottest product under the internet context.  A cable modem is a bridge of network that intercepts through the radio frequencies in your cable television connections.  That means that you will need to avail a cable internet service from the providers of your cable television service.  It is basically the relay tool from your computers to internet connections.

Cable modems are for single unit use only.  It is plugged to one computer using the internet at a time.  However, there existed wireless routers for heavy duty.  It serves like an extension of service.  If you have more than one computer unit that uses internet at the same time, wireless router is the tool for you.  You would not need to avail a double or triple cable modem internet connections.  Wireless router is a splitter of network bridges that has multiple ports so you can plug multiple computer units which internet service would be in use at the same time.  Using a cable modem, you have to plug it into your computer, provided that you are subscribed to a cable internet service.  Using a wireless router, you must connect to your computer by plugging it into the cable modem.

What if you can get a cable modem wireless router combo?  Wireless routers as the term suggests, can also be used wirelessly.  That is another purpose.  You can do it as you please.  It can accommodate up to 50 computer units as long as they are covered inside the signal radius that your home network reaches.  It saves us from a lot of hassles, yet it requires multiple facilities when it is actually possible to get all these features and services squeezed all in one unit.  Yes, there are Cable Modem Wireless Router combinations.  It serves as modem, the very similar purpose that cable modems has.  It also serves as the router.  It does all the purpose of both cable modems and wireless routers.

So, you must know what facilities you must provide to maximize the use of your computers.  Take advantage of the modern technology.  You will find that you can benefit more, yet spend less.  Cable modem wireless router combos can accommodate the whole family’s internet usage.  Plus, each of your family members can find a nice area of your own choice, as long as it is covered by the signal.
