CATS

CATS is an amazing musical created by Andrew Lloyd Webber. The show was first shown in London on May 11, 1981 instantley becomeing an award winning hit. In 1997 the show became the longest-running musical in the history of Broadway( until in 2006 it was surpassed by The Phantom of the Opera).

There is no real 'star' of the play, it is about all the different cats. Many of said cats have their own song and dances. Such as with, Jennyanydots, Rum Tum Tugger, Grizabella, Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer, Old Deuteronomy, and many others.

The storyline is all about the Jellicle Ball that is happening that night- the cats want to impress Old Deuteronomy so they will be choosen to go to the 'Heaviside Layer'.

It is a truely amazing play, the costumes are simply outstounding, the songs are funny, moving, and interesting, the characters all have their own look and are all incredible, the storylne is great, the effects can be tantalizing, over all it is a must see.

CATS has many twist and turns filled with love, happiness, humor, heroic tales, sad and depressing stories, all mxed together into an artistic master piece that is for all to see and enjoy.

The show is still played all over the world, it has been translated into almost every language and played in almosty every culture.

CATS is truely MAGICAL.
