The top eight Cricket teams in the world is participating in the Champions Trophy Cricket 2009, which is starting from today in South Africa. This is going to be played in the format of 50 overs a side Match in One Day International style. 

The Winning team will recieve a prize money of $2 million.  Runners-up will receive $1 million.  Losing semi-finalists will get $400,000 and Third in groups will receive $100,000.  There are two groups playing--Group A (Australia, India, Pakistan and West Indies) and Group B (South Africa, Sri Lanka, England and New Zealand).
