Which genre ?, are my ears prone to every sound that is called music ?, does my soul agree with any type of music ? does my body move and shake for all sounds made under the earth and called music?. Yes, before I became born again, ie redeemeed from this sinful world through the precious blood of the lamd of God which taketh away the sins of the world, I nearly danced away my strength in youthful exhurbarance. The pop, the reggae, the disco the massive and hard rock and the jumps etc thrilled me most, gospel music had no space in my soul. But since I believed in Jesus as my Lord and personal saviour, my music and indeed my all changed. Christ began to lift up the stone that the devil placed over my heart which made it impossible for gospel music to attract me and when I probed this brand of music further I discovered the beauty of Christ and the power of the holy spirit through music I gladly went for it.

I then disovered that Jesus Christ and no other "christ" is and should be the centrality of all christian music and worship because it is the person and works of Christ echoed loud in the lyrics and the humility [not careless ] shown in the presentation that distinguishes it from the other forms of music where carelessness is displayed in all respects and reigns supremme.

When we sing for Christ,it would be pertinent to remind us that we must be born again ie repent from our sins . Our drinking and smoking habits that makes us irresponsible,our gambling habits,our cheating, lying ,forgery,fornications and adultery,stealing and killing and other vices which even the society in which we live in abhor. We must not be carnal and or irresponsible,we must be prepared and take time to be holy for the champion we have come to worship is holy and would not acept any worship done outside and ambit of holiness,we must bring the worship and our presentation to the level of prayer and other meditations where we believe the presence of the holy spirit is unavoidably attracted.Acknowledge therefore the presence of Christ whom you are singing for,that Jesus Christ is fully present in the gathering were the song is being ministered unto,be it a church, a conference, retreat, holiday camp, homes, in the car plying along the road etc. If Christ remains the centre of the worship you give to Christ,it would in no doubt facilitate worship and the worshipers led to a fruitful worship they will never forget.

What is the message in your song ?Jesus of course,but is He fully represented in the massive and hard rock gospels,? is that song spiritual, will it provoke the listeners to sing with you, pray, worship God and recieve results ? or is it the type of gospel that promotes the kingdom of darkness ?. Pay attention to the lyrics of your gospel, does it speak of the glory of Christ?,His mercy, kindness,miracles,resurrection, death,compassion,ascension and expected return to take home the saints ?, amongst other goodies believers[your listeners] enjoy in Christ Jesus

What outfit do you put on ?, the outfit of the sons and daughters of perdition or rightly put, the appearance of the world.? For it is of a truth that many gospel musicians are endorsing the appearance and fashions of the world as the best out fit in which they must air their songs to the public and get the required attention..What a wonder ?" prove all things,hold fast that which is good, Abstain from all[every] appearance of evil"I Thess5:22 said it all. èRomans 12;22,1 John 2:15,,3:13 ]

What of the dance steps ?, and the dozens of worldly dressed women,dancing and throwing themselves in ways that suggests lust? Are they singing for Christ?, the most anointed man that ever lived on earth ?, who so much impressed the father that he [God] has to confess "This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased "Mark 1:11. Many a gospel star, you must agree with me tries to put life in their presentation by immitating the late and legendary Micheal Jackson who won fans all over the world through his songs and most especially through those electifying dance steps that every one is copying . Surprisingly, Micheal Jacksons dance steps have been copied into church music and worship through the gospel artists.

"God is a spirit , and all they that worship Him,must worship Him in spirit and in truth" John 4:24. This is the biblical injunction guiding all that we are doing for God. How spiritual are those songs that you are brandishing before the public,how spiritual are the band boys and girls chorusing your songs?, how spiritual are you the band leader, remember,,All that worship Him, ie sing for Him,cook for Him, donate for the gospel, look after the poor, the weak,build a church, furnish a church and many other works we do to support the work of God must do so in spirit and in truth.

Do you observe the christian wear code ? "The woman shall not wear that which partaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a women's garment, for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God " Duetronomy 22;5 .Abominations galore in the christian world, abominations galore in the gospel music scene,abominations galore in the church of God. For I have seen and I am tired of seeing the gospel artists commiting this abomination. Men singing for christ have their ears loaded with ear rings,bangles, chains ,their nosetsrills are equally mutilated and adjusted to fit one design of ring or the other,their total appearance, leaves much to be desired.

The women artists have decided to tempt their fans through their Jezebelic appearances,luring for sure, weak christians to the sin of lust and fornication for even Christ warned thus.."You have heared that it was said of them of old time,Thou shall not commit adultery, but I say unto you, whosever,looketh at a woman to lust after her,hath commited adultery already with her in his heart" [Mathew 5;27-28.] Know ye not that by carrying yourself in a way that promotes lust, you are tempting your fans and leading many to the sin of virsual fornication ? Know ye not that the women artist attract more attention than the men ? Know ye not that the kingdom of God suffureth violence and it is only the voilent that will take it by force ?, must you promote this violence taking men away from the word of God ?,God forbid.!.

Is Christ Jesus in your music, or are you in the gospel music arena, just to gamble for fans and a living ? .It is not just enough to mention Christ, Jesus, Holy spirit, or God in your music, is Christ truely in your music ? God loves music, that's explains why when He brought in the first begottten into the world He said "let all the angels of God worship Him"[ Hebrews 1:6 ] Brethren,know ye not that you are made a little lower than the angels..[Psalms 8;5] walk thou before me and be thou perfect .[Gen 17;1] the angels are worshiping Him,we are a little lower than angels, we are worshiping Him too,but how ?

Do not sing and appear to please the world because firendship with the world , is graded enemity with God, for what shall it profit you to make the waves , make the money through the music played to please the world and finally make your bed in hell ?.
