CNN Is Not Your Friend
53To the People of the United States Supporting Israel
Reports are being circulated (in the rest of the world, from sources already living in Palestine when the attack began, of course, as they are the only possible sources of information right now) that civilian men, women, and especially children are being specifically targeted and that Palestinian babies are literally having their heads stomped in by IDF soldiers (I won't even post the links to that--I don't know that I'll ever be the same, having seen the pictures Norwegian doctors--who were, after much resistance, reluctantly allowed inside to provide humanitarian aid to the people being slaughtered there--have released to the United Nations as evidence of war crimes) while Israel flatly refuses to let either foreign reporters or UN human rights inspectors past the barbed-wire fence and into what one Vatican cardinal has called the "Nazi-style concentration camp" that the Gaza Strip has become.
Apparently, even on national levels, human beings have the tendency to repeat behaviors perpetrated against them in the past and perform the same acts unto others later down the line. Blatant and entirely sickening evidence of human rights abuses, worldwide cries for intervention, a growing semblance of out-and-out genocide, and even still, 'our' American government--including both the present and incoming regimes--is speaking in language largely sympathetic to Israel's cause of 'defending herself.'
This isn't even about the Palestinian or Jewish people. People are people, and are mostly pretty good across the board. Period. Rather, it's about atrocious national and foreign policy decisions being made by the governing bodies of nations in this world, and the reasons behind them. In the end, of course, as always, it's about corporate profits and a highly strategic global power struggle for corporate leverage in the world being orchestrated by a few very wealthy world bankers and their families.
So that's it. Isn't that pretty? The global agenda of a few psychotic and supremely wealthy families to monopolize world wealth. That's why babies heads are being smashed beneath military boots like cockroaches until they're just giant, flat, amorphous shapes--thoroughly blue from bruising because that is skin, after all-- with tiny, intact, and completely recognizable human bodies attached; and on top, if you look closely, you can just pick out a faint line of whispy brown hair which you know instinctively must have been the baby's eyebrow. The rest is just blood and brain matter. And that's why your government supports it.
Because you don't have a government. You have a profit machine owned by global bankers, just like the rest of the 'Westernized' world. And just like the rest of the 'Westernized' world, it will do as it is told, which means that you will be told only that which it is in their best interest for you to know, like that Saddam Hussein has weapons of mass destruction, or Iran is trying to become nuclear, or Hugo Chavez is failing to cooperate in the 'war on drugs.'
And that's why the U.N. gets marginalized--it just doesn't matter. Money matters. Nothing else matters. Human life, apparently, doesn't matter, unless it's making money for the global banking systems, which Palestine isn't.
You have a U.S. Congress being threatened with Marshall Law in the United States of America if they don't vote the right bills into place. You have incredibly courageous U.S. Senators beginning to speak up about it, like one, in particular, voicing this fact verbatim on the senate floor. You have a camera in the room which is supposed to provide some semblance of U.S. Government transparency to the public, and you have a channel on your television called C-Span on which such comments are aired live, but which nobody watches. You have an internet video sharing source called YOU TUBE, however, onto which some concerned and perceptive citizens sometimes upload recordings of such broadcasts. This one, on this subject, of U.S. senators being threatened with Marshall Law in the United States if they don't vote the right bills into place, for instance, is on there. I mean, it's obviously not going to show up on CNN, because CNN is owned by Time-Warner, Inc., so you might not see it, but you could, theoretically, look it up, if you wanted to.
"Eh, politics. Whatever."
"I know, right. It's like, 'whatever.'"
"Totally."
The new season of American Idol began tonight. Didjya watch that?
