62Daring To Be Brave
It takes courage to ignore and look beyond the various excuses that daily try to overwhelm us as we try to attain our most dominant goals and aspirations. Excuses are like sharks whose singular objective is to consume us after tearing us into horrifying shreds.
- It takes courage to be different
- It takes courage to change a life-style
- It takes courage to accept a fault and apologize for it
- It takes courage to say 'i do not know'
- It takes courage to say 'I choose not to do that'
- It takes a measure of courage to put aside a part of your income in the face of 'pressing priority bills'
- It takes a whole lot of courage not to exert vengeance when the oppurtunity presents itself
- It takes courage to ask a lady out
- It takes courage to ask for more
- It takes courage to witness for Christ
- These days it takes courage to simply..... stay alive!
Courage is an essential ingredient for greatness. I believe so strongly that the odds are usually stacked in favour of the courageous.David was brave and slew Goliath. Daniel was brave and courageuos to survive the lions den.
Even when courage does not succeed at an undertaking, it still attracts and retains honour. Whenever we are faced with daunting challenges, the least we can do for ourselves and our self-esteem is to brave situations by mustering as much courage as we can and we shall get past it....whatever the challenge! The human will is indomitable and God has imbued us with the will to succed at any given task,situation or challenge....all it takes is the appropriate dose of courage. He has not given us the spirit of fear.
Be strong. Be daring...only then can you attain great heights.

Yes, well it is hard to come by sometimes my sweetie...courage is there, but knowing how to use it in the right way and for the real good of necessity, isn't always clear or up front or easy to find....although I say "It is in God's Hands Now" I don't always want to hear what He says or know how to figure it out....Or go in the correct direction..One step forward and two steps back....G-Ma :o) hugs

i have to say i was able to relate to one of the sentences more than the rest of them " it takes courage to be different". talking from personal experience i have to say being different can cause lots of pain when others find it to be a fault in you.Yet, when a person finds the courage inside of him to embrace this difference it soon grows into a unique special thing that makes him one of his kind and this makes life even greater and better . IT takes lots of courage to live in this world and never give up :D
