Renewable energy as the name suggests is the energy that could be created by renewable resources. The use of renewable energy resources as an option has been explored and used long back. The pre historic people burned the bio mass for light and heat; the water mills and windmills were used for agricultural purposes way before we could understood the potential energy that water could provide. Its only when we human beings being at the top of the food chain, explored our environment, realized that rather than creating renewable energy , power could be generated burning the fossil fuels the problems started to arise from no problem to endless problem, and the reason being development. It’s astonishing how we define development. Development because of which we take decades to realize that by burning fossil fuels we actually are challenging our existence on the face of the earth in the due course of time. Creating renewable energy in today’s situation has become indispensable.

By creating renewable energy from the sun, the sun is not expected to deplete in any way. The wind energy could always be created as the winds would always flow. Consumptions of winds are not even a concept. The winds are just there am would be. The ever existence of moon would ensure the tidal energy. Unless there is a drastic change in the rainfall system the hydro electric energy would exist. On the contrary the fossil fuels would exhaust one day or the other leaving us with no choice, as they can’t even be created. The process of fossil fuel is a very gradual, slow natural process; that can only be initiated by Mother Nature. Global warning which is one of the modern day worry can be taken care of by creating renewable energy. The fossil fuel that we burn without thinking for a second produces lot of harmful gasses including carbon dioxide. This is the major contributor to global warming. We human beings are so short versioned that we can’t even gauge the danger of the glaciers to melt and the earth to be covered all by water.

Such drastic floods would be across boundaries, as water meted from the glaciers would not understand, visas and immigration permissions. It would just sweep every thing away. The profit, losses, market strategies, cost of raw material, profits from sales etc would not even stand as concepts, at that point in time. Moreover, the burning of these fossil fuels is eating up the ozone layer that is exposing us to the direct harmful raise of the sun. Assuming that if this pollution persists and the ozone is depleted completely, forget about us, very thing else including humans would burn. Or in extreme situation we would have to take measures that would be extremely expensive, more expensive then setting up a support system for creating renewable energy. We need to immediate steps before ozone depletes or the glaciers melt.
