Having cute lower back tattoos is something popular for some women, especially as a first tattoo design. The designs are often drawn around the base of the spine so that the image can be seen between clothing for the upper and lower body, especially if the women bends over forwards. The designs can be like traditional ones, sometimes with a cute animal replacing the less cute original, often the design will be a cartoon type animal, either one from nature or one from stories and films.

The designs are often quite small, especially if it’s a first design and the wearer is doing it to test how they cope with the process. The first application of any tattoo should be considered as one on a bony area will hurt much more than one on a fleshier area.As with many lower back tattoos the main focus point is normally in the exact centre of the body, if there is any design going across the body then its normal to have it with identical length pieces either side of a centre point. Famous icons such as David Beckham have tattoos on their backs !

The above cute lower back tattoo is situated with a centre point in the middle of the back; symmetrical plant stems either side and cute animals in the middle. Of course the design is the famous speak no evil, see no evil and hear no evil one but is done in a cute way, the animals in this closely reflect frogs found in nature but any animal, real or not, could feature. The animals can show any message or can just sit there being cute.

A common first lower tattoo for some women are cartoon characters from TV shows or from films, especially Disney ones. Characters like Mickey mouse or Winnie the pooh are among the most popular although there are many others. Popular animals for a cute lower back tattoos include cats, butterflies and dogs. The animals are often alone but can be paired up with others or can have a background set behind the image.

If the initial image is the first for the wearer they may decide to stick to the initial image first and add other items at a later date. The first lower back tattoo could lead to many more images being added over time, the cute animals and designs can be applied nearly anywhere on the body, maybe covering a theme or simply random images. Another idea would be to have a favourite character and have it drawn in different poses and positions around the body, maybe adding different backgrounds and situations for each.
