Call Of Duty 4 All Patches

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is considered as the best shooter game of 2007. This intensely gripping game series has millions of devoted players all over the world. The latest version Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare was released on November 6, 2007 by Infinity Ward and they are bringing out patches that fix bugs and other issues to improve the game experience. The latest is the Call of Duty 4 1.4 patch.

As expected, Call of Duty 4 Patch 1.6 is available for download now. This 283mb patch file offers :

New hardcore and oldschool server browser filters

Four new multiplayer maps: Creek, Chinatown, Broadcast, and Killhouse

Fix for a Denial of Service attack, and it also includes all the changes up to patch 1.5

This patch is not compatible with 1.4. You will not be able to find 1.4 servers if you update. Make sure that you have previously downloaded 1.4 patch before downloading 1.5 as you will need the 'Winter Crash' map from 1.4. This patch fixes some server/map/mini-map issues and more.

The changes are :

Fixed server browser not showing all of the servers

The "hold [ ] to steady" sniper scope hint will only appear if you can use it

Fixed game not recognizing IWDs existing if they are all in fs_basepath and none are in the main/ folder

Made mod scripts able to change stats

Allow developer_script for mulitiplayer modding

Fixed map rotation errors with usermaps

Fix for reloading several times after connecting to a modded server

Fixed minimap not showing up in the menu for usermaps

Fixed an issue with Http redirect downloads.

Mod tools will now work with other languages

The 1.4 patch for Call of Duty 4 was released on 18.12.07 by Infinity Ward to improve bullet registration and offer improved mod support. Other major additions in 1.4 include a reworked browser, a new holiday theme map and the usual list of minor fixes.

Compared to earlier patches v1.4 is a hefty 69MB download. The release says that the new patch will clear up some rare bullet accuracy issues for all weapons. The increased mod support will be welcomed by the gamer community as it is supposed to clear up a number of known issues.

An interesting addition in cod 4 1.4 patch is the new map, "Winter Crash". Set in the same location as the default map, the new map sees players compete across a new look crash site featuring candy canes, presents, snow and a giant Christmas tree(Goes with the season!).

Changes:

Server browser improvement.

Fixes some rare bullet accuracy issues for all weapons.

For server admins: fixes user ban list not working correctly on servers. Ban.txt will be created in the main or fs_game directory. Banning will work as soon as you update your CoD4 server. No need to update ModernRcon.

Mod Support:

In the connect screen, Mods will be identified as"Mod: [mod name]".

Only official IWD files will be read from the main directory. All custom IWD should be placed in a mod directory.

Fix for reloading several times after connecting to a moded server

Improved mod.ff support to allow adding game types.

Fixed an issue with HTTP redirect downloads.

"fs_game" will be forced to lower case.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Patch v1.3

Released on 7th December 2007, this patch addresses the issue reported by community member Uzi Kidding which now catches some files bypassing the pure client test. In addition this update will set properties so that Anti-lag is always enabled upon map loads, an optimization for Sniper Rifle accuracy at certain distances, as well a fix so text chat between rounds of multiplayer will no longer cut out at the end. The 1.3 patch will also include all previous fixes from previous patches.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Patch v1.2

Released on 21st November 2007, this patch optimizes the Lean view offset issue, addressing the glitch reported by several community members and documented and sent in directly by community member GaretJax which is commonly referred to as the Left / Vertical Lean Glitch, in addition to preparing files for compatibility with the future release of the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare™ Mod Tools. This patch will update all previous versions of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare to v1.2

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Patch v1.1

Released on 15th November 2007, this patch addresses the issue of Rank / Stat resets reported by users moving from a Modded / Un-ranked server to a non Modded / Ranked Server. This update is not intended to revert back to any previously lost rank, but to prevent the issue from happening in the future.
