Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare Review, Hints and Cheats

The Story

The first 3 Call of Duty games were based on historical battles of World War two, but Call of Duty 4 brings you out of that era and throws you into the centre of the 21st century, take your choice of being an American Marine or a British SAS soldier in a series of campaigns.

Handling

A steady hand will keep you alive, the controls are sensitive and when shooting the game has a hair trigger. 8/10

Features

There is an amazing array of weapons as you can imagine with the game being based on modern day warfare, you also benefit from night vision goggles and satellite support, adding to the excitement is a range of modern day vehicles, attack helicopters and fighter jets are used to give you support on the ground. 9/10

Graphics

The atmosphere is a little darker than the previous Call Of Duty games, but this adds to the enjoyment of the game, the war arenas are amazingly drawn, and there is an array of obstacles broken buildings and vehicles for you to work your way around. 9/10

Overall

As a fan of the first three games in the Call of Duty series, the change of setting, the array of weaponry and up to date military accessories makes this game a must have.

There is a fantastic multi player mode that gives the game even more Va Va Voom! hours of play will turn into days, weeks and months, I don't think I will ever tire of playing it.

This is a great addition to the series worth every penny. 9/10

All gameplay turns black and white giving the game a classic war movie feel.

4 pieces of intel - Photo-Negative

Makes all the colors of the game inverted.

6 pieces of intel - Super Contrast

Increases the game's contrast making the darks much darker and the lights much lighter.

8 pieces of intel - Ragtime Warfare

Gameplay goes black-and-white, dust and scratches fill the screen, it plays at 2x speed, and the music becomes piano music.

10 pieces of intel - Cluster Bombs

Turns your frag grenades into cluster bombs.

15 pieces of intel - A Bad Year

When you kill enemies they explode into tires

20 pieces of intel - Slow-Mo Mode

By using the melee button you can change the game to slow-mo and play at half-speed.

30 pieces of intel - Infinite Ammo

Weapons have unlimited ammo and you don't have reload. This doesn't work with single-shot weapons like RPGs
