Calvin Klein in Miniature Fragrances
66
This summer, one of my favorite brands, Calvin Klein, has come up with another limited release summer fragrance from the Eternity line: Eternity Summer. So what makes this different from the previous Eternity Summer flankers? First, let's smell the notes. It's composed of lychee, pear blossom and Chinese ginger at the top notes. The heart is all floral - mimosa, pink freesia and magnolia. As for the base, there's musk, Tonka and white cedar. Overall impression: luxurious, sunny and a bit masculine.
Another summer scent on my list is the ever ubiquitous, CK One Summer. The 2009 version is aquatic - minty, cool and plenty of apples! Every year, CK One Summer introduces a different version. Last summer, it was woody aquatic and prior to that it was woody-oriental. No two CK One Summers are alike so you get a different scent every time. The bottle comes in a different color, too.
Calvin Klein fragrances are popular for its shared scent appeal. It's crisp, modern and despite its floral-based notes, it's not girly sweet.
I admit that collecting designer fragrances can sooner or later put a dent on my wallet. But how can I resist not buying the lovely perfumes from my favorite designers? Wouldn't it be lovely to have a sample of the new releases rather than purchase the big bottles? Samples are great but there's not an infinite supply of them either, unfortunately.
There's aplenty of perfume addicts like me out there who want to have a piece or more of those much-coveted freebie perfumes. There's a solution though, two actually - miniatures and discount perfumes. So, whenever I feel like buying more than two perfumes, I shop online for better deals.
