As far as Cambridge clubs go, the Phoenix Landing holds the crown for most and longest running undergraound DJ nights.  From the 10-years-running Makka Mondays (dancehall and hip-hop) to Thursday night's DnB party Elements (voted best dance night in boston) - nightlife at the Phoenix defnitely tilts toward niche genres and is ground zero for those scenes. 

The next morning you might find Irish football fans from around Boston enjoying a morning game and a Guinness.  The Phoenix serves a respectable irish breakfast and pub lunch & dinner all week.
