Sell Your Photos For Cash

Blown away by yet more honest paying opportunities for individuals who are willing to work. We have learned about some of the writing sources, so this time I thought I would dig around for information for people who love to flash those cameras.

I wanted to share with you honest, and legit sources that will pay you for your photos.

  • 1.) http://www.pitcha.com/ This source is for individuals looking for long-term royalty earning potentials. Pitcha is looking for untouched photos that has not been previously published by other source. You will earn 50% of any sells of the pictures, and you are free to upload as many as you want. Pitcha will sell your photos to magazines, advertisements, websites, even for personal uses. You can even send pictures with your camera phone.

2.) http://www.sierrastock.com/ You can earn a whopping 70% of the final sale of your pictures with this source. No cost to join of course - you guys know I am the Freebie Guru -- if you can earn money from it with no cost to you - I will tell the world. Okay back to the photos, Sierra also has a restriction, photos cannot be previously published before. Guys this is a big deal! If you are a professional photographer than I know you understand this clause. I want to be clear that novice photographer understands this point. Sierra offers a statistics page where you have the ability to watch your income grow. This site currently has more than 8,000 visitors a day looking for photos.

  • 3.) http://www.shutterstock.com/ This site pays .25 cents per photo. They are looking for high quality pictures to be used for webmasters, and magazine editors. Looking for stock photos.

4.) http://www.dotphotopro.com/ Can you believe a generous 85% commission of each sell for your pictures. The pay out is twice a month, free membership. Geared toward the professional camera snapper, but if you are a good with your camera, I would still give them a try. Need, high quality, unpublished photos.

5.) http://www.naturephotoindex.com/ This pays up to 95% of each sell. I encourage anyone who loves to take pictures to give the sites a try

Great hub! I guess when they mean "unpublished" that would mean not on any sites like MySpace or places like that? I've taken some neat pictures but have most of them up somewhere.....But for future pictures this is great to know!

Hi Dorsi,

Most of these sites are selling photos to magazines, or newspaper editors. "unpublished" means you have not published the photos with an article or sold the rights of the photos to another publisher. Hope this helps your question.

Is this really worth it, I have tons and tons of photos, with only some being worth of professional standard

Gosh tons of photos I would say at least try it, some of the higher paying sites, but of course it is not a overnight cash cow.
