The Bond Girls and Classical Music

Beauty and Brains

If you are one of those people who think beauty and brains don’t mix, you have to watch this video of four beautiful woman playing classical music, it will knock your socks off.

Classical music turns most people off because for years it has been associated with the upper class or old folks, very rarely with the working class, however; commercials and movies have used classical music for years, like the theme to the movie 2001: Space Odyssey.

Ten years ago Julia Clark wanted to share her life experiences with her baby and created the booming Disney’s Baby Einstein series or CD‘s and DVD‘s, spawning a revitalization of classical music for expecting mothers and newborns.

I am a fan of classical music, most of which wouldn’t interest the average person, so I won’t even list them here, but I wanted to share this one to prove a point, that beautiful woman can also be educated and talented.

The four woman string quartet include, Eos Charter, born in Wales, received her degree from the Royal College of Music in London, she plays second violin. Tania Davis from

Australia, has an Honors degree in music and completed a postgraduate program in music and drama in England. Haylie Ecker, plays the first violin, and has a degree in music and drama. Gay-Yee Westerhoff, born in England, comes with a Honors degree in music and drama, plays the cello.

Their CD was popular overseas, they were the first female string quartet to appear on the British pop charts, they received great reviews when they hit the states in 2001, selling over 3 million copies of Born world wide.

Enjoy!

I like some classical music. I am eclectic when it comes to my musical choices....from classical to rap, R&B to country, rock to spanish musica and even Jazz...I love all types! And I also believe that beauty and brains can go hand in hand. Good hub!

Love classical music and beautiful women too. They go hand in hand with intelligence and talents aplenty. And they have hoo hoos too. hehe

Hi, it's me again.

Since you took the time to visit my hubs, I thought I'd do the turnabout bit.

You have an excellent, easy wreiting style. that states your point simply and directly.

I like the diversity of your taste. just about anything is fair game for you.

You approach it in a serious cerebral manner, but you have some light humor under the surface.

I especially like your headlines; they are arresting.

I enjoyed Are Sexy Pictures of Women Considered Creative Writing? There was one picture of a young woman who was so overdeveloped that it completely blew the subject out of my mind. All illustrations must serve a thematic purpose. Otherwise they are merely exploitative

Big Brother Obama very definitively explores the same tack that I took in Is He Or Isn't He? It's terrible when you have to be afraid of your President and what he may do. In many ways, we are on the same wavelength.

Why I'm Not Smart Enough to Drive A Smart Car was a lot of tongue in cheek humor. You made your case beautflly.

I also liked the title Can Beautiful, Sexy Women be Talented. It was such an out there kind of headline that I had no idea of what to expect. That you described four beautiful classical musicians is a bonus.

I am in show business, an entertainer, and I have worked with many attrative people, male and female alike, and their looks were no hindrance to the magnitude and seriousness of ther work. I also put my esthetic taste to work as a theater critic in the South Florida area.

I particular like the celtic singers. They are not only physically beautiful, but the quality and texture of their music are entrancing.

Keep writing; keep reading
