Can We Trust Our President And Congress

Do We Have Liers In Washigton?

Everyone agrees President Obama is a wonderful speaker. I have said for a long time. that he is a wonderful reader. When his tele-prompter fell, he could only adlib with short jokes about the falling tele-prompter. He was not able to speak on topic or on his own.

As a former speaker and entertainer I understand what this means. He was trying to waste time until things could be fixed. Why do people do this? They want to waste time for things to be fixed, then they can resume what they were saying according to script. It also has another meaning.   The speaker does not have the knowledge to continue, without words being put in their mouth. That says a lot about our President.   Does the above say anything about member's of Congress also? If the press asks though question's or they try to answer people at Town Hall Meeting's, they frequently change the subject. This only means we (the people) do not get our question's answered. It also means they (the congress) do not know what is in the bill.   These days speed is more important than knowing what they are voting for. What the hell, we belong to the same party. Even long time Representative John Conyers said; "how can you read over 1,000 pages over night." He voted with his party anyway.   Speaker Nancy Pelosi talks of all the Nazi signs. Does she know what a Swastika loos like? Senator Harry Reid calls people at Town Hall Meeting's, an organized mob. There were  no arrests, he didn't like the question's they asked.   Other's in Congress are stymied by their audianced, "don't you like me", is a great question of theirs. Duh, wake-up! Our President will NEVER "wake-up." He honestly believes he is above the  fray.   Most American's on oth sides do NOT trust our politician's. They lie constantly. Who among them has their net worth decrease after serving?

Harvey, Here's your kind of speaker. No teleprompter.

Deeds, And you think I'm on his side? I'm against any politician of the cloth. He does speak well on his own but I would never listen to anything he says.

I admit that I have to give more thought to the Fed, they do need some regulation.

I want to know is who is controlling the teleprompter and what he is saying. This is the big question.

And on the town meetings, It is so funny when a democrat holds a town meeting, and his fellow democrats are protesting him. It appears a lot of the protestors are democrats. And the out of touch media blames the republicans. i.e. Bawney Fwank, the king of uranus, and his comment today to a lady, asking her what planet she was from. What I understand she is (and maybe now was) a democrat. This is such a mature answer by Mistew Bawney Fwank.

Keep on hubbing.

Harvey,

I enjoy your hubs thouroughly. But I do think you could be too dismissive to the words of Father Conklin. He was entirely right about the Federal Reserve, and he was entirely right about political parties. They each serve the same masters and that master isn't the American people. The master they they serve is high powered international interests which aims at Global domination.

That is the reason politicians of both parties lie to us constantly. If we dont elect thos independ of any masters but the American people the Republic will not survive. America will be enslaved, to big monied interests.

I'm a former Republican converted to Libertarian.

eovery, Ain't Barney great! He is now helping the Republican's as his personality comes out. The sad thing for me is the religion aspect. I am Jewish like many politician's but I hate almost every one of them. I understand why they think the way they do (upbringing) but I saw the light. I guess it comes down to who your supporters ($) are. I may regret writing this but I'm being honest.

Tom, Every politician is beholden to someone or something. How else can they get out there. I started an Internet campaign to run for Presidentt in 2012 but I have with drawn because I'm too ill now. I was building some support in ten states when I stopped. It was only a few people in each state but it could have blossomed. The people understood every word I said, that was important to me.

I wanted to cut, cut, cut. Everyone seemed to like it except those on welfare. It was set up to be a 2-3 year set-up , to help people pick themselves up by their boot-straps. Not something to be passed on for generations.

I didn't want to comment on the Fed because I am not well versed on it.

The Priest: I don't like religion and politic's. We all serve someone, it is not an international interest.

Coughlin was a supporter of Adolf Hitler and the anti-semitism of Henry Ford. The Pope belatedly silenced his radio programs after he became too controversial.

I certainly hate him. But Hitler was a great speaker. I wish I could have shot him during an early speech.

Hot air and half-truths is what you get with social profit based elitist capitalism of a fascist republic...Shake um up role um out and republicans and democrats are puppets of the the fascist elite...

Where is the self-rule of democracy when you need it? Oh!yeah ~ it was never implemented...So much for freedom and the equity of liberty...

loua, The people have gotten what they've wanted many times in the past. With Obama, we don't know what's in the bill.

The Town Hall Meeting's are a peoples revolt. No ACORN, no SEIU, just AMERICAN's.

Welfare, I use to watch Glenn Beck, and he said one time (or at least I think it was him, anyway)about welfare and government, that they need each other, because if government stops giving to the "needy" (which I'm referring to those who have been on it along time) then, all hell would break loose and they (government) could no longer control the masses. I think it is a good program, short term like you said, until you can pick yourself back up. But it would be much better if, Towns and community's would do more on there end. I don't know what do you think? I don't watch to much TV any more, nor read about politics, so I am kind of far behind on latest updates and such.

Friend, Since you've given up those things, allow me to guide you. No, run-run-run, save yourself! As I was saying before being interrupted. Welfare is geared to keep people in need. The Democrat's pushed it, and now they have gotten a large base from it.

I thought I was going to be called a racist by many. That has become the lead word to change the subject of conversation.

The people on welfare do not scare me. It takes money to do anything, including a lot of violence. Are they going to give money to support this riot campaign, NO! They would be squashed by the National Guard and the Police. Sleep well.
