Pray
According To The
Will of God In the
name of God Master,
of the Universe,
Ruler of the earth

Praying in the will
of God is not an
unrighteous attempt
to know God. However
we do know God as
His commandments
teach us and an
indication of His
will.

For example
walking by the poor
only to drink water
while they have none
and praying for a
golden water vessel
is not in God's
will. Greetings
Brethren, Peace be
unto you.

Love you Jesus by Hillsong

To the
Church and believing
Christians
everywhere. To those
that believe in the
Bible as the supreme
authority that
governs all of
humankind. In this
we give thanks to
God the Father the
Son and the Holy
Spirit that leads
and guides us the
straightway.

Beloved
many days come by
that the saints feel
a manner of fatigue.
However we may give
out but we will
never give up.

Trials, ditches and
various obstacles
are cast in the
pathway of those
that stand on God
and Truth. But the
Word teaches that
the world does not
know God. Those that
do stand in
opposition to the
world's values are
in need of prayer.

Thus as we pray we
look to the will of
God. Follow us now
as we note several
scriptures that will
give us a Biblical
base for praying in
the will of God.

Have mercy Lord?

At
the 5th and last
Division of I John
at verse 14 we find
a succinct scripture
reference. Here we
find another
blessing from John
inspired by God and
Christ. Also look to
verse 15 for a
further revelation
on this subject. I
John 5: 14:

"And
this is the
confidence that we
have in him, that,
if we ask anything
according to his
will, he heareth
us." I John 5: 15:
"And if we know that
he hear us,
whatsoever we ask,
we know that we have
the petitions that
we desired of him."
Beloved the sincere
saints of God are
responsible.

They
come not to ask of
God wild
unscriptural
requests. True
believers pray not
for a space ship or
a Rolls Royce. They
also come not
seeking harm for the
enemies of God and
God's people but
instead offering up
prayers of mercy
desiring that all
will be saved the
righteous and the
unrighteous. So as
we stay in the
Spirit realizing the
essence of prayer we
do not expect God to
grant requests that
are not Bible based.

However those that
do not study the
Bible are not
responsible
Christians. These
same people also
challenge the
essence of
Christianity as to
know Christ is to
know what is in the
Word. Meanwhile
verse 15 helps us to
understand that when
our petitions are
heard it means that
we acted
accordingly. If not
God would not have
granted them. This
does not mean that
all scriptural
requests are
immediately answered
by God.

Often many
of us have great
difficulty realizing
the time in which
God answers our
prayers. As we go
through this series
we will gain more
understanding here.
But at the moment we
note that there is
no guarantee in the
flesh that our
prayers will be
answered. Some
prayers have already
been answered. Some
are needless
requests and some
will be granted in
time. As we move to
a cross reference
regarding our
primary verse and
praying in the will
of God turn back to
I John 3. In verse
11-24 John teaches
about the love we
should have for
other Christians.

Our primary verses
are 21-22 however we
will box these
verses in with verse
20 and 23 to get a
greater revelation
here. I John 3:
20-23: "For if our
heart condemn us,
God is greater than
our heart, and
knoweth all things."
"Beloved, if our
heart condemn us
not, then have we
confidence toward
God." "And
whatsoever we ask,
we receive of him,
because we keep his
commandments, and do
those things that
are pleasing in his
sight." "And this is
his commandment,
That we should
believe on the name
of his Son Jesus
Christ, and love one
another, as he gave
us commandment."

Beloved God knows
your heart.
Therefore if we fail
to do our duty as
Christians we will
be self-condemned.
Thus if we feel that
we have been
derelict in our
duties surely God
knows that we have
failed in our
Christian
responsibility. For
example if someone
is praying out of
the will of God and
we identify this
problem we are help
the brethren. Thus
tactfully through
Bible study etc. we
are to note the
scriptural bases of
a proper prayer.
Failure to do so
lands us in trouble
with God.

Meanwhile
many are run out of
various Church
houses because they
wish not to get in
trouble with God.
However when these
people try to inform
the brethren of a
specific law of God
they are often found
in contempt. Thus
what develops is an
attitude among many
of the "lost saved"
that rejects any new
information about
the Bible. What they
have not heard they
don't want to hear.
Sadly these people
believe they have
already heard and
received the formula
for salvation and
have already
arrived.

But love is
at the center of our
quest to pray in the
will of God and help
the brethren.
However we cannot
receive God's
blessings if we do
not keep His
commandments. This
means those people
that resist and
reject Bible
knowledge are
mis-informed and
lost. To keep His
commandments means
we have to consult
the Bible to learn
what God says we are
to receive. This
consultation with
scripture also
includes our
learning of the
things to do to
please God. Bottom
line is if you do
not read and study
the Bible you know
not what God would
have you to do.
Meanwhile as we move
to our final verse
for a further
explanation we see
love once more. We
must believe in
Christ and love the
brethren thus one is
obedient to God.

Believing in Christ
is more than just
professing this
verbally. Your
belief will motivate
you to carry out His
teachings. So in
faith we will show
