Classy!!
Think you need to visit an expensive restaurant for stylish food? Think again!! This pan-seared salmon fillet with lemon and butter is amazing and beautiful, and the pan fried cabbage is absoutely gorgeous and delicious, too!!
Ingredients:
- Salmon fillet
- 2 Tbs. butter
- Garlic pepper
- Lemon juice
- 3-4 cabbage leaves
- 2 Tbs. Oil
- Garlic Salt
- Lemon Pepper Salt
Directions:
- In a skillet, melt the butter.
- Add a fully thawed salmon fillet to the butter.
- Liberally squirt juice from a lemon over the salmon.
- Cover the top of the fillet with garlic pepper.
- Cook until golden on both sides, flipping once.
- Plate salmon and set aside.
- Wash cabbage leaves.
- Roll cabbage like cigars.
- Cut strips of cabbage.
- In the same skillet, add cabbage and oil. Cook on medium low heat.
- Sprinkle with garlic salt and lemon pepper salt.
Pour some of remaining spiced oil onto the cooked salmon and cabbage and enjoy. A glass of San Pelligrino would add some extra class, too!!
