Think you need to visit an expensive restaurant for stylish food?  Think again!!  This pan-seared salmon fillet with lemon and butter is amazing and beautiful, and the pan fried cabbage is absoutely gorgeous and delicious, too!!

Ingredients:

  • Salmon fillet
  • 2 Tbs. butter
  • Garlic pepper
  • Lemon juice
  • 3-4 cabbage leaves
  • 2 Tbs. Oil
  • Garlic Salt
  • Lemon Pepper Salt

Directions:

  1. In a skillet, melt the butter.
  2. Add a fully thawed salmon fillet to the butter.
  3. Liberally squirt juice from a lemon over the salmon.
  4. Cover the top of the fillet with garlic pepper.
  5. Cook until golden on both sides, flipping once.
  6. Plate salmon and set aside.
  7. Wash cabbage leaves.
  8. Roll cabbage like cigars.
  9. Cut strips of cabbage.
  10. In the same skillet, add cabbage and oil.  Cook on medium low heat.
  11. Sprinkle with garlic salt and lemon pepper salt.

Pour some of remaining spiced oil onto the cooked salmon and cabbage and enjoy.  A glass of San Pelligrino would add some extra class, too!!
