I am assuming you have a PC and not a MAC as the following is for PC.

I use some of my favourite photos at various times as wallpaper for my computer.

When you have your computer on the first screen (the one with the little icons showing) right click on your mouse and select properties.

It will open a window calle Display Properties. Select the tab along top that says Desktop.

There will be a little list in a window and a button that says Browse. Click on this button and it will enable you to search your own computer for the picture that you want - simply select and click open and the picture will be imported into the display properties.

Click OK and it will update the desktop with your own wallpaper/picture.

If you want to go with animated stuff then just search the web for animated wallpaper and screensavers and follow the directions. I tend to not bother too much with those, however, as they are a bit resource hungry and can slow down your computer a bit.

You can also set up your screensaver so it shows all your favourite photos. I put all the photos I want to use into a folder which I call 'screen pics' - then if you select My Pictures Screen Saver in the ScreenSaver tab of the display properties you can browse and point to this folder for your screensavers. It is really nice to see you pics scrolled through at idle moments!

Good luck!

Yes he did but then using a picture is doing that. My apologies to readers if I have got the wrong end of the stick...
