Can you really make money with Clickbank? I mean really, they seem to have tough rules for pay-out.

Yes...Clickbank has a lot of rules and regulations prior to payout. That can be a drawback to someone who is EAGER to get cash in hand, NOW.

If you're looking for that from Clickbank...don't hold your breath.

First and foremost, you have to make more than your payment threshold. You can set this from your account settings within your Clickbank account.

Second, you now need to acquire at least one sale using all the major credit card providers, such as Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and AMEX, and yes...even Paypal.

So there will be some time before you score your first check with Clickbank.

There are ways in which you can overcome this...

Get a BOATLOAD of targetted traffic to your affiliate links.
Follow up with everyone possible so that you can score more sales, and possibly meet the minimum requirements for payout.

Now, with both of these, I would normally recommend that instead of driving traffic to your affiliate link...drive them to a 'squeeze page' or an opt-in form, where they can give you their name and email address, prior to visiting your site.

If you can create a nice 3-part email series talking about the benefits of the product you're promoting...then ask people to sign up for THAT, before sending them to your affiliate link.

Use the emails to pre-sell the product, and then ask them to visit your affiliate link.

A lot of newbies make the mistake of simply sending traffic straight to their affiliate links, instead of trying to build a relationship with their visitors...and sealing the deal on a sale.

That way, you'll pull more sales...and possibly meet the requirements to receive your first check or direct deposit from Clickbank.

Why? because they're still reputable websites from reputable businesses...even though they're free for everyone.

So YES, it's possible to truly make money on Clickbank; even though they have a lot of rules for getting paid.
