Candida

Candida can raise havoc on the body and one does not even know that they have it. It can cause various symptoms. There is a easy test to see if you are a Candida suffer. Take a glass of water to bed with you at night and spit in it. When you awake in the morning, look at the glass. If you see spider like legs coming off of the spit you are a likely canidate of Candida. If you are, here are some ways to help you control this epidemic growing out of control.

No, it may be that your body is trying t expel the toxins that are built up in your body, but exercise is great for all of us. My exercise is training horses, which is very strenuous, but is fun and I get to be outdoors.

Thank you for listing these as I end up making bland foods to avoid sugar and simple carbs and I didn't have ideas for being more creative. Also I didn't know about the spit test. I will have my nephew try that as I think he is a candidate.

Also I think I can get friends to eat these recipes too so that way I don't have to cook 2 meals.

Thanks Deb, I checked out your page and it is nice. Have you ever tried Aqua Flora to help battle Candida along with the diet. Check it out.

I am trying to get the recipe for mock sour cream but I am unable to open it. It just says I don't own hub.

Here it is.

Mock Sour Cream

These is a great substitue for sour cream.

Recipe #1

2 tablespoons of nut milk of your choice

1 tablespoon of lemon juice

1 cup of raw cottage cheese

Combine all ingredients in a blender or food proccessor and blend until smooth and creamy. Makes 1 cup.

Recipe #2

1 cup macadamia nuts

½ cup water

1 teaspoon olive oil

1 teaspoon golden flax seed, ground

¼ teaspoon sea salt (optional)

2 cloves garlic

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Blend all ingredients in a blender in food process or until smooth and blended.

You have so many great recipes I can't tell you how happy I am to have found this site! One question. A few of the recipes I cannot access as it says you do not own this hub when I click on them. Do you know why?

Do you have any recipes for a yeast free, wheat free pizza dough? I found some for yeast free but would love to find something with a wheat substitute.

CRUST: 2 c. GF flour, tsp. salt , 2 tsp. baking powder , 2/3 c. water, 1/4 c. vegetable oil

Mix flour, salt, baking powder and water. Knead on floured counter just until workable and spreadable, about 2 minutes. Put on pizza pan, with fingers spread vegetable (olive) oil on crust

Bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes.
