Weighting just 450 grams this camera can be termed as the most light weight camera ever released in the DSLR series. The 2.5" LCD helps in quick preview of the shots. Also due to the wide viewing angle of the LCD the shot can be instantly shared too. Tabbed browsing has made its way into the software loaded into the camera. Because of this unnecessary scrolling is avoided to a large extent. The interface is also easy to use and master within a short time. Auto Lighting Optimizer helps in the addition and ambient correction of the captured images. The provision has been provided to induce additional noise to the images. This helps especially to the images captured using high speed ISOs. The camera comes with packaged software suites like Digital Photo Professional and Picture Style Editor, EOS Utility, Photostitch, Image Browser.
