Canon has produced the imageClass MF6550 to improve the productivity and cost effectiveness of the modern office. The color scanner function of the MF6550 provides images in the 9600 X 9600 format. These images can be both managed and stored using software included with the MF6550. This software, NewSoft®Presto Page Manager along with ScanSoft®' OmniPage® provides a complete software suite that allows the owner to manage and store images. The ScanSoft®, OmniPage® software allows documents to be transferred to editable text which eliminates the need for retyping the document to enable changes.
