Can't get rid of belly fat? Well don't feel to bad your not alone. So many people battle with this same issue. Whether your trying to get a sexy six pack or just trying to get a flatter look it seems like the hardest task to accomplish as you diet.
So many people believe that by doing hundreds of crunches week after week that this should get rid of that stubborn belly fat. They seem to have been mislead into believing that because they feel the burning sensation in the stomach that this is actually burning fat. This is a big misconception because the burning that your feeling is actually the muscle that is heating up from being worked so hard. In short your just strengthening the ab muscles and your not doing a thing for the fat that lies around and on top of those muscles.
If that is what you have been doing now you understand why you cant get rid of belly fat. To get rid of belly fat you need to be doing things like these:
- Being patient is a must because if you want good lasting results it's going to take some time to actually see them
- Full body exercises really make the difference. If you exercise the whole body then you are going to see a difference in your stomach going down in size along with every where else. That's the reason why you have to be patient. Your body was designed to lose weight evenly as well as gaining it. When you are actually exercising and eating correctly then you are losing weight all over and since the correct safe weight loss is 1 to 2 lbs a week then it will take time.
- Cut back on the carbs. Carbs are full of sugar and if the sugar is not burned it is stored and it turns to fat.
- Eat proper portion sizes. If you eat the right amount of food then you don't have to worry about if your body will be able to burn those calories so that it wont turn into fat. Also if you eat the right portion sizes you wont have to worry about your body taking in more than it can excrete.
Many people don't know that there bodies are supposed to excrete the food that it takes in in 24 hours. If this doen't happen then this means that your body is storing waste in your intestines. This is another reason why you can't get rid of belly fat. If this is happening then all the exercising in the world will not remove it.
