Caravan Covers

Nowadays you can actually buy a full-size caravan cover to protect your caravan from the elements. If you are leaving your caravan for a long period of time, for example if you only visit it during the summer holidays, a caravan cover offers remarkable protection and preservation that will keep it looking great for when you next visit. Tip: look for a caravan cover that is all-weather, durable and breathable.

Aerials and satellites

If you want to pick up television in your caravan then aerials and satellites and the perfect caravan accessories. Terrestrial aerials range from basic, compact aerials at around £20GBP ($30USD) right up to permanent status aerials, which are capable of receiving worldwide UHF, VHF and FM signals, at around £150GBP ($200USD). Tip: speak to a helpful retailer to find out which aerial or satellite will suit your needs.

Dehumidifiers

Caravans can become stuffy and musty when the air is too humid or damp. A caravan dehumidifier is the perfect accessory to keep unwanted moisture and condensation under control. There are several different types of caravan humidifier available including moisture traps, electric or battery powered, and dry bags. Gas Supply and Equipment

When you are staying in a caravan gas is the most popular, reliable and affordable form of power there is. Because of that, there are a wide range of gas-powered caravan products on the market. Popular equipment includes camping stoves, lanterns, heating and hobs, but remember the first thing you will need is always a refillable cylinder and gas fittings to use it safely. Tip: for safety you should always have a gas regulator. Caravans built after 2004 have them as standard but if your models is older it will be required separately.

Food Cooling Equipment

Thankfully there are a lot of caravan accessories for keeping food cool. The most common options are cool boxes, ice packs, cool bags and portable fridges. Tip: fridges require gas or electric power.

Caravan Cleaner Goods

To keep your caravan looking in great shape, it is recommended that you use a cleaner designed especially for caravans and motor homes. There are several brands of caravan cleaner on the market, including Thetford Shampoo and Wax, Silky Caravan Cream Cleaner and Fenwicks Motor home Cleaning Kit. Tip: all caravan accessories are equally important – make sure you pack your fair share before you leave home.
