About Card-Jitsu

Card-Jitsu Fire is a recently announced expansion to the popular Club Penguin Card-Jitsu game. Card-Jitsu is a combination of an online mini-game inside of Club Penguin and a collectible trading card game using cards that can be purchased in stores or online.

In the original game, players would compete in an online game that works just like rock-paper-scissors, using online cards in the form of water, snow, and fire. Players compete with each other and wins translate to points. As players gain points, they can earn different belt colors, leading ultimately to a black belt. They then can become a Club Penguin ninja by defeating the Sensei character in a game of Card-Jitsu. This gives them access to the secret ninja hideout, called the Flying Flippers Emporium and allows them to get special ninja gear in the game.

Players who purchase the trading cards in the store can unlock special power cards in the online game to help give them an edge when playing.

About Card-Jitsu Fire

Card-Jitsu Fire is a recently announced expansion to Card-Jitsu that players who have already achieved ninja status are able to play. The game is played in a new room called the Fire Dojo, which can be accessed via the Flying Flippers Emporium, otherwise known as the secret Ninja hideout. You will get additional cards in your deck to play the new game with.

Club Penguin Fire Dojo Now Open

The Club Penguin Fire Dojo is now open for members only. To get inside, purchase a ninja amulet from the martial artworks catalog in the Flying Flippers Emporium and then click on the fire door. A huge secret door will appear on the left side and then you walk through it. You'll arrive in the Fire Dojo which is a secret room inside the volcano that appeared on Club Penguin island. The Card Jitsu Fire game has not started yet, but it will be available soon. In the meantime, members can get a great sneak peek of the new room.

Playing Card-Jitsu Fire

To begin playing Card Jitsu Fire, you first go talk to Sensei, who is sitting in the very back part of the room. When you speak with him for the first time, he will give you some new Card-Jitsu cards to put in your deck. They are new cards that are added to the regular ones you already have. You can also add special cards when you purchase packs of Card-Jitsu cards at the store or at Amazon.com or other online stores.

There are many differences between the new Card-Jitsu game and the original. The most significant difference is that up to four players compete at the same time. And the rules are different. In this game, you start with 6 energy points and the goal is to be the last player with points left. The game moves forward with each player taking turns. On your turn, you click on the stones in the middle, which spin around and then the stone you clicked on turns over revealing a number. You can then move that number of spaces either to the left or the right. The space you land on determines the kind of round that is played. If you choose a water, snow or fire place then a basic round is played where every player plays a card. The player with the highest card of that type wins. The winning player keeps all of his energy and everyone else loses a single point. There are also wild card spaces on the board. When you land on one, you get to choose which kind of round to play fire, water or snow. Finally, there are Card-Jitsu spaces. If you land on these spaces, you choose any player to challenge in a normal round of Card-Jitsu. You also play a round of Card-Jitsu when you land on any space with another player already on it. In a normal Card-Jitsu round, the loser still loses a point, but this time the winner earns a point.

The winner of the game is the last player with any points. After the game ends, you earn some progress towards earning the special Fire Suit. The amount of progress towards each piece of the suit depends on what place you got in the game and how many people were playing. This suit comes in four different pieces, starting with the flame sandals. The first piece is easy to get and the other pieces each get much harder. Once you earn all four pieces and assemble the full suit, you can challenge Sensei to a round of Card-Jitsu Fire and try to win a special jewel that fits inside your amulet.

The Rewards for Card-Jitsu Fire

In the original Card-Jitsu game, the rewards were different color belts for each level you advanced, and finally a special black Club Penguin Ninja Suit once you achieved the rank of Ninja. In Card-Jitsu Fire, you're playing to win four pieces of a new Fire Ninja Suit:

  • Flame Sandals
  • Magma Coat
  • Lava Mask
  • Fiery Helmet

Special Fire Ninja Suit Moves

Club Penguin Ninjas have some very cool new moves to show off. You can do the moves like regular Dance and Wave moves but these are new animations. To do the moves, click on the actions in your menu or press the W and D keys on your keyboard. You have to have the complete fire ninja suit from Club Penguin Card-Jitsu Fire to do these moves. The four suit pieces you need are the Helmet, Mask, Coat and Sandals.

When you do the Dance move, your arms shoot apart to your side and flames come out of your hands. Doing the Wave move makes you do a quick like flame animation and then you turn partially invisible.
