Assembled as a transitory ice skating rink at Cardiff Bay (also called the Cardiff International Ice Arena), Cardiff, South Wales; the Cardiff Arena is great scene of action. It features a capability of accommodating 2,500 spectators for hockey games and is abode of the Cardiff Devils. Cardiff International Arena is controlled by Planet Ice and is a transient structure that will continue to remain open till the culmination of a new arena.

The ice-skating rink is a preassembled bodily structure manufactured in the Republic of Finland. Fabrication commenced in 2006 and after a number of holdups and hiccups, it opened up on the 6 December 2006 as the Devils hosted the Manchester Phoenix in an Elite hockey game League fixture. Apparently they too coincidently, were expecting for a look-alike venue to be dispatched.

The Devils succeeded in that game 7-4 while Manchester's Tony Hand became the 1st participant to make a goal at the rink.

When I was younger I used to love to ice skate! We had a pond near our house that froze deep so we could skate without danger. My niece was close to being an Olympic skater but developed asthma and couldn't go out on the ice any longer. She was good, though! Nice hub!
