This is a very special hub.  In case you are not familiar, The Cards of Hope are Christmas Greeting Cards that are created by those affected by cancer, particularly children. The Funds that are raised are go to The Cure Kids Cancer Fund. The Cards of Hope are a fundraiser unique to the West Virginia University Children's Hospital.

The Cards of Hope are created during the summer months during the annual summer party. Children who are affected by cancer as well as well as their siblings. The cards are voted on by doctors, nurses and other community members. Whatever pictures get the most votes get published for the Holiday Season.  In November the original prints get auctioned off at the Annual Cash Bash.  One year a print sold for $2,300!

This is the eighteenth year for the Cards of Hope project. Their website boasts that over 33,000 cards were sold last year. They were also excited that the cards were sold throughout the United States. Wouldn't it be awesome if they could be sold throughout the world?

There are ten Christmas Card designs to choose from and are fifiteen dollars for a package. There is also a variety pack of all ten designs. If you check out the website below for ordering information you will also see there are all occasson cards!

The funds that are raised form this project go toward hosting holiday parties for the children, creating camps for the children and providing craft materials for the children. The funds also go towards providing educational resources for the parents and families of children with cancer. Some money also goes towards providing state of the art technology for the facility.
