Welcome to the world of business brokerage, a lifestyle onto its' own!

Business brokers find business owners looking to sell their business. These folks are everywhere. A business broker with a support system as the one we will introduce to you will have on average 2 closings a month after 6 months into this profession. That translates roughly to about $30,000 a month! Not quite as much as a cardiologist, but well more than an ER physician. The ER physician works on average 20 hours a day for his paycheck, and they stay in school half their life before they can start making any money. You will work 20 hours a week for your checks!

Training part 1: When properly trained, you will be able to find business owners looking to get out, determine if a "business for sale" listing is worth your time, you'll know how to talk to the sellers, address their concerns, and also how to properly take a listing and market it to get buyers. You will also learn about all the official documents used in the process, how and when to use each form properly.

Training part 2: You will also learn how to communicate with buyers. Buyers have different and diametrally opposed concerns than sellers. you get paid by the seller, however, it is imperative to be helpful and honest with your buyers. Here you will learn procedures, techniques and usage of official forms and documents, so you will master part two, being an efficient handler of buyers.

Training part 3: You will learn how to handle a closing. When you have a good listing, buyers will come to you. When a serious buyer and a seller go forward, the process of YOU GETTING PAID has started. You are a diplomat and a negotiator at this point. You will learn about common issues that arise and how to handle them. You will learn time-tested procedures that ensure a high likelihood of success in your transactions.

Training part 4: You will learn how to use an advanced online portal that helps you be extremely productive, efficient, and well paid. All the knowledge of lessons 1, 2 and 3 will tie into this system and the proper use of the same. In addition to managing your listings, sellers, buyers and closings, the portal allows you to communicate with your clients, advertise your listings, communicate with your colleagues, and monitor the web portal for leads!

Why are there no requirements to enter this profession?

Good question! Because we have designed the system so that people who are not cut out for it will simply give up by themselves. It is nonsense to hold you up to academic standards when so much talent develops outside the mainstream venues, and when so many people get a degree without much to show for it, as far as the qualities that we seek in an agent go.

First, check to make sure you can practice business brokerage in your state. A few states require a Real Estate Broker license.

After you verified state requirements, entry into Option Quest is free for all. You join the system, you take your training, you start practicing as a JUNIOR agent. After you have sold two businesses or sold two comprehensive valuations, whichever comes first, even one of each is fine, you can apply and will be approved to advance to the status of SENIOR agent. SENIOR or PREMIER agents receive extra benefits which help them be that much more productive.

Alternately you can pay to be a PREMIER broker. However, you will still need to learn the same process as those who advance through hard work. You will just have access to more powerful tools sooner.
