Cruise ships in this class have a gross tonnage of 88,000 tons and a guest capacity of 2,124.
The other ships in this category are the Carnival Pride, Carnival Legend, and the Carnival Miracle.
Carnival Spirit was also the first new "Fun Ship" to sail to Alaska and Hawaii. Eighty percent (80%) of its cabins are on the outside of the ship, and out of these outside cabins, eighty percent (80%) have balconies.
