Chris have had social anxiety since he was like 13 years old, he moved to Michigan 12 years ago and his social anxiety started to get worse, when he was younger he was very social and didnt have any problems, but then he lost all his friends when he moved and it has been very bad. His first year in college was ok made some friends, when he came back to Michigan it got really bad.

When professors told him to introduce himself he got very nervouss and irrational fear. He started taking some medication to treat anxiety is worked good at first but not anymore, no one else knows about his social anxiety disorder. His problem as he says is that even thought he knows his fears are irrational his brain is causing physical stress and anxiety in his body, like a dispute between his physical body and consciousness.

In the case of chris he told his mom about his social phobia and she didnt believe how serious this problem is, she just see it as shyness, this caused a lot o frustration in Chris.

Chris is one example of what many people from all ages feel with social anxiety have to go through. The support of the family is very important so the person can be strong and avoid further frustrations.

Chris Social Anxiety Story

There is another guy which has Social anxiety and Selective Mutism. His social phobia started in 6th grade, he was worry about what cool people will say about him. He was afraid of showing his school grades for fear of what their family and people will think of him if those results were less than perfect, but it was after his father dead that it got worse.

In fifth grade one of his teachers wrote a letter to his mom saying that students were bothering him and he wasnt defending himself, that might her mom mad.

Middle school was a real problem he was with new people, he find difficult to communicate with people, they saw him as quite and shy. Once they attached that label to him he accepted it as true and he was very absorbed on how he looked. He was worried about his appearance and what clothes he got.

It was very difficult for him to be alone in high school while everyone else had friends and had good time with each other. During that time the principal of the school and his mom try to look for someone to help him but he was unable and unwilling to talk so they said that there is nothing that could be done.

He now needs to deal with his social anxiety and it is more difficult to overcome it now, but he knows that something needs to be done to help himself.

Those are 2 case studies of people with social anxiety and how it has affected them in all his life, depression and frustration are a consequence of this and its clear that it has gotten so difficult that professional help is needed.

Besides the typos, it wasn't that bad of a case study. And it will be useful information to help with my psychology project (naturally I'll give you credit). Though if I may give one word of advice, you should reread what you wrote and fix up the errors, people will take you more seriously.
