Are You Experiencing Any Ear Ringing?

Tinnitus is commonly known as "ringing in the ears" but it can be

caused by many factors, some of which most people aren't aware.

Some of those factors include:  swimming accidents, loud noises

even those suffered in a wild surf and crashing waves, ear surgeries,

wax removal or ear candling, stress or anxiety, blows to the head,

inner ear infections, sport-related injuries, certain antibiotics and

some chemotherapy treatments.


All of these can cause damage to the cochlear portion of the inner

ear which transmits electrical impulses to the brain as sound.  Damage

this sensitive portion of your ear and you may experience what is known

as "tinnitus" or ringing in the ears.  It can be slight or severe damage and

can be short in duration or last a lifetime.  

Causes For Ear Ringing

There are many causes for ear ringing or those bothersome humming noises

in your heard.  The great news is there are ways to make that go away,

and sometimes it even eliminates it all together.  You just have to first

----the most common cause of ringing in the ear is too much noise.

This comes from loud concerts, ear phones, loud restaurants, loud clubs, 

loud manufacturing plants, loud motors, loud airports and fireworks.

People describe it as hissing, swooshing, whistling, humming, ticking,

clicking and roaring. but no matter how you describe it, it can be a horrible

condition to live with it!  And you don't have to put up with it!

Once you discover the root cause, you need to seek treatment

as soon as possible, as the condition can worsen with age.
